Wash before use. This item is not dishwasher friendly. As with any kitchen appliance with metal parts it is recommended that you wash the unit before and after use in hot soapy water and dry immediately and lightly coat the blade and disk in oil. This will prevent the blade and disk rusting and greatly extend the life of your mincer.
