Color correcting is a technique that has been used by makeup artists for decades to banish imperfections through use of colors that cancel each other out. Using the color wheel below, we know that the colors directly opposite from each other will cancel each other out ; meaning peach cancels out blue, purple cancels out yellow, and so on.
