Ah! you can almost imagine yourself listening to the sound of Bing Cosby singing this amazing song from a bygone era.

'Phonograph" & "Record Player" are just some of the other names a Gramophone is also known as by many people.

Since it's invention in 1877 by Thomas Edison, the phonograph was the the standard record player in the late 19th century up until the mid 20th century. The most popular of them was the HMV manual wind up Gramaphone.

This stunning replica Gramophone comprises of a octagonal shaped wooden casein mahogany colour with a spin table and needle that plays the flat vinyl record and a brass golden horn that projects the sound.

This is mainly an ornamental product but in a working condition (within certain limits) and doesn't play vinyl records at the correct speed*. It can be wound up manually with a crank on the side to resound the music loudly through the horn. There is an integrated speed adjuster along with a stop controller.Some assembly is required.

It's hand finished using traditional methods, which gives it an authentic & antique look. This means that any patinas and vintage touches are intentional, therefore each exemplar is slightly unique compared to the next.
