Extremely well known for relaxing and calming effects on the body, this tea is usually a go-to drink for stress and anxiety relief. So great are it's effects, that people will often use this tea as a sleeping aid prior to bed!

Much research has been done on this herb, proving it to be sedative, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and a muscle relaxant - which does well to uphold Chamomiles reputation as one of the king herbs of relaxation, with this particular herb coming from Egypt.

Brewing
  1. Add around 1 1/2 teaspoons to strainer in hot water. This tea is quite light.
  2. Steep for 3-4 minutes with the cup covered. Boiling water is fine.
  3. Milk isn't recommended for Chamomile Tea. Sugar or Honey is optional, with honey being more common.
Cautionary

When consumed in large doses such as over 5 cups a day, can cause headaches and nausea in some people.
