Honeybush, also known as 'Cyclopia spp' is well knownwithin South Africa as being both a beverage and medicinal tea. With a sweet, honey like smell that almost reminds one of Rooibos (also commonly grown in South Africa) this tea started gaining international popularity way back in 1652 with trade between the Dutch and British in Cape Town.

There are a few variations of this tea, based on the plant and region it originates - with ours being particularly fragrant and robust. If you have tried Honeybush before and liked it, we're confident you'll love ours.

Caffeine Free and suitable for night time drinking, along with having a low dose of tannins - which means prolonged steeping times do not degrade the taste.

Pinitol is a component of this tea, which is known to help reduce blood sugar levels along with aiding coughs and sore throats.

Manganese is a compound contained within this tea that is known to aid in bone health and lowers the risk of joint pain and osteoporosis.
