FAQs Any recommendations when using this splitter with IR-Over-Coax product? Yes, we recommend using DC blockers in IR systems. The trick with IR is voltages. A standard splitter uses diodes, meaning voltage only flows in one direction. These splitters allow voltages to flow in both directions. Having products like unearthed TVs in the system can cause issues. It's recommended that DC blockers (RLACC130) are used at the TV sockets to avoid voltages leaking back into the system. This should ensure reliable IRperformance. {/tabs
