This shiraz is from 2014, sourced entirely off a single vineyard in Wilyabrup and destined for two more decades of vibrant life should you have the restraint to lay it down. With a score of 96 points from James Halliday, heres a wine that sits just above medium-bodied with fruit density thats more in line with compote than jam. The palate is silky smooth and secondary characteristics of ginger, anise and pepper are just starting to pop out and add elegance. As a complete package, its just so tidy with not a hair out of place. Absolutely splendid!
