What Makes AEON AOC Cables Different?
Not all AOC HDMI cables are built the same. There are many factors that make one better than the other. Due to the limitation of the design and manufacturing process, the lasers from different manufacturers have different intensity of optical power and the life of the laser is also inconsistent. This will directly lead to the failure of the HDMI AOC cable after being introduced to the market. How We Test 8K AOC Cables
Because 8K is a new resolution and not many sources are outputting true 8K60 signals, we use the ASTRO VG-879 to test 48Gbps. This generator lets us test 12Gbps per TMDS lines. To utilize the full functions of the HDMI 2.1 specifications, HDMI 2.1 cables require 12Gbps per TMDS line. Make sure you buy 8K cables that are tested as there are many cable manufacturers out there saying they are 8K ready but not have gone under actual testing.
