The Port Sipper dates back to the 17th century Europe. Then known as a Schnapps Pfeiffer, it was made of ceramic material. The unique design allows fluid to be sipped from the bottom where it has a chance to oxidise, therefore enhancing the taste of fortified wines like port and liqueurs. Today this beautiful drinking vessel is made of hand blown glass. To enjoy the Port Sipper, simply pour in your favourite drink and sip through the stem.
