It comes with a removable grill for outdoor cooking, or for use as a barbecue grill. Featuring dual-purpose holes around its bowl—they are an aeration mechanism, helping to keep the fire going when you’re cooking or grilling. The holes also serve as a viewing window, offering a glimpse into the roaring fire, which is especially stunning to look at when viewed at night time.

The Alaska Fire Pit also comes with a stable, cast iron base, which can be secured onto the bowl using three screws (included).

While most fire pits are made from pressed steel, which, in time, tend to rust and burn through the bottom, our outstanding quality fire pits are made from exceptionally strong cast iron that are designed to last a lifetime.

All our fire pits feature a drainage hole at the bottom to prevent water from pooling.

Note: As with any newly-purchased cast iron, it is recommended that the grill for this fire pit be seasoned or cured prior to use. Curing can be done by scrubbing it with hot soapy water and drying it completely, and then applying a coat of oil or melted grease all over. Seasoning the cast iron cooking grill makes it non-stick and helps it last a lifetime.
