Nant Distillery was built in Tasmania in 2008 with an eye towards bottling a limited number of single cask single malts each year. Their latest, Sherry Cask is a wonder. With a malty core enhanced by touches of rum-soaked raisins, vanilla and plum pudding, it has a rich creaminess that brings to mind a fine cognac more than sherry. On further tasting, It also presents a distinctive nuttiness and slight coffee acidity just before its finished. Monkey Shoulder Batch 27 Blended Malt Scotch Whisky - 700mL - 40.0% William Grant & Sons Ltd is an independent, family-owned Scottish company established in 1887, that distils Scotch whisky and other selected categories of spirits, and is still run by descendants of William Grant today. Monkey Shoulder Batch 27 Blended Malt Scotch Whisky has broken new ground as the first triple malt, a blend of three Speyside single malts, and is a superb 40% ABV triple malt whisky with rich, smooth and mellow vanilla characteristics that make it perfect served on the rocks, neat or in your favourite cocktails as a mixed drink.
