This 15-year-old single malt is nicely balanced between the sherry influence and the distillery's fruit and peat characteristics. This single malt whisky has a deep amber appearance. It features a balance of leathery sherry flavors and fruity accents on the nose. On the palate, there are aromas of pungent fruit and peat smoke, as well as citrus, linseed oil, and flowery touches, which are complemented by black licorice. Hints of dark oak, mild tar, woody spice, and green apple on the finish.
