This fork clamping system has been designed in order to evenly clamp around the fork steerer and relieve stress of the carbon fork steerer. Many stems over tighten the bolts and often the steerer breaks. The D.C.S. is based on the fact that the two clamps work independently on a diagonal plane instead of the center as many stems.
