Crown Thread Chasing Tool Turning Tools

The thread chasing tool comes as a matched set of two chisels to produce 18TPI threads in timber. One tool is used for cutting external threads while the other is for internal threads. They feature a unique enhanced helix angle specifically designed for cutting wood.

The Recess Tool is used to make a recess when chasing internal threads that are stopped.

The flutes are well-polished so the cutting edge is superior to most other brands on the market. The join of the blade to the handle is pressure tested to ensure the blade will never split from the handle and each blade is hardness tested alongthefull length of the chisel to ensure the correct hardness is found throughout the blade, greatly reducing the chance of the blade snapping under duress.
