Daler-Rowney Sable bristles are chosen from select sable tails, cleaned and dressed in Europe by one of the most well known and respected producers of dressed fine hairs for artist brushmaking, using the traditional methods of washing, baking,(to remove dirt and grease, while retaining natural oils) & cutting hair from tail, then meticulously hand segregating (dragging) different lengths.
