The DOD RC500S-1CH single channel dash cam offers Full HD recording at up to 60 frames per second. Excellent low light and night time vision with ISO range up to 12800 to ensure you get the clearest possible vision in low light conditions. The RC500S-1CH Dash Cam has a Sony STARVIS sensor. This sensor is ultra sensitive to light which enhances low light conditions at dusk and night time. The RC500S-1CH dash cam now also has the ability to add a rear camera to the unit to turn it into a dual camera dash cam at a later date. Completely modular in design allowing you to create your perfect recording experience to suit your needs.

Manual File-lock
Important event files are locked and kept securely, requiring manual deletion only. Critical moments can be safely locked to the SD card to prevent important files from being overwritten.

Automatic Recording And Shutdown
DOD incorporates automatic recording and shutdown technology, which means your camera will shut down when you turn your car off, similarly when your vehicle is switched on, recording will being automatically.

Loop Recording
As a standard, all DOD cameras feature loop recording, eliminating the need of removing the mSD card for formatting and clearing the card. Your oldest (non-event locked) file will be removed and overwritten with a new one.
