Double bill of classic musicals starring Elvis Presley. In 'King Creole' (1958) Presley stars as Danny Fisher, a juvenile delinquent who works his way up from bus boy to nightclub singer, only to fall in with a bunch of gangsters and criminals. Danny wants to do things the honest way, but mobster Maxie Fields (Walter Matthau) is determined to get the young man playing on his team. In 'G.I Blues' (1960) Presley plays a guitar-picking gunner who accepts a bet that he can spend the night with a cabaret dancer, hoping to use the proceeds to open a nightclub.
