HL50 is specially designed for extreme all weather use and high altitude activities such as mountain climbing ect and when powered by one CR123A the HL50 can operate in temperatures down to -40 degrees.
The Fenix HL50 combines a compact and lightweight design with sturdy construction. Weighing a mere 57grams and measuring just over 50mm, it is comfortable to wear for a continuous & infite length of time. This headlamp is so light that it can be held in place with a single strap, no top strap required ! Built with durable aluminium and stainless steel and coated with type III hard-anodized anti-abrasive finish, this light is ready for any abuse you can throw at it. An IPX-8 waterproof rating ensures that this light is ready for adventure in rain, hail or shine.

Readily Available Power Options:
While primarily powered by a CR123A battery the adjustable battery tube allows for the use of a common AA alkaline or even a NI-MH rechargeable battery.While the AA mode does have lower output, it can still put out a solid 285 lumens. Using a CR123A disposable lithium 3v battery, this headlamp can push a blinding 365 lumens in burst mode.

The HL50 headlamps is prepped for adventure with powerful output and straight forward features that make it ideal for both indoor or outdoor use. Wether it be for industrial or trade use where hands free light is required, hiking, walking, camping, fishing this micro headlamp has thousands of uses.
Unique to this light is its temporary high-output burst mode, which can be accessed by holding down the power switch. This provides a burst of light to illuminate any particularly dark spots on demand. The headlamp can also be removed from the strap, and used as a regular flashlight, allowing for additional light positioning options not possible with other headlamps. With power and versatile design on its side, the HL50 is the perfect illumination tool.
