Season 1

Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne has begun. It will stretch from the south, where heat breeds plots, lusts and intrigues; to the vast and savage eastern lands; and all the way to the frozen north, where an 800-foot wall of ice protects the kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords, and honest men . . . all will play the Game of Thrones.

Season 2

The coveted Iron Throne is occupied by cruel young Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson), counselled by his conniving mother Cersei (Lena Headey) and his uncle Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), who has been appointed Hand of the King. However, the Lannister hold on the Throne is under assault on many fronts.

Robb Stark (Richard Madden) seeks autonomy in the North and has taken Cersei's brother Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) prisoner in battle. Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) looks to shore up her depleted power in the East with her three newborn dragons. Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane) rejects Joffrey's legitimacy and aligns with a powerful priestess (Carice can Houten) to raise a naval attack while his brother Renly (Gethin Anthony) has maintained his own claim since fleeing King's Landing. North of the Wall a new leader is rising among the Wildlings, adding new perils for Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) and the Night's Watch.

Season 3

While the Houses of Lannister, Baratheon and Stark continue to fight for the control of Kings Landing, in the far north, the enigmatic Mance Rayder (Ciarán Hinds) has united the Wildlings into the largest army that Westeros has ever seen. The only thing that stands between him and the seven kingdoms is the Night's Watch but...
