This prevents water from getting into the boot, while allowing water vapour (sweat) to escape. Down on the outsole you get Hi-Tec's MDT (Mult-Directional Traction) technology which positions and angles the lugs for optimal traction, dirt release and flex. Internally the boot is supported by a lightweight nylon shank. With a removable EVA cushion sole, these boots will see you out enjoying long days hiking in comfort.
