The all new Sumo™ 2-4 person Group Cooking System integrates the all weather MiniMo burner with the high capacity Sumo Cup, yielding an unmatched blend of power, convenience, and efficiency for the full range of group backcountry cooking chores, from snow melting to simmering.

Sensational set for rapid boiling water and simple meals for several people. Aluminum cup with a capacity of 1.8L ;is the fitted with thermal heat transfering FluxRing® technology ;boils ;a litre of water in approx 4 minutes. When cooking on a standard burner only 20-30% of thermal energy is transferred to the pot, while the rest escapes out the sides. With the patented system FluxRing ® 70-80% of the heat is now transfered to the pot, ;saving time ;and thus ;consuming ;much less gas.

The burner, which ;fits compactly ;inside the Sumo ;Cup, is equipped with push button igniter for reliable flame ignition even in very windy conditions. Cup has a neoprene insulator ;which ;maintains content temperature and also ;protects ;against burns. The ;Sumo Companion Cup ;features a sturdy strap, serving as a handle and a smaller loop, allowing attachment to a backpack or belt. Once burner is removed & cup cooled down the plastic cover fits neatly over the bottom of the cup to protect the Fluxring whilst in transit. This cover ;can also serve as an additional pouring cup. Added to the set, three-legged foldable tripod fits under the gas cartridge allowing ;for increased stability ;whilst cooking.

The set is simply brilliant on all kinds of trips, especially hiking, mountaineering where weight reduction & compactness is critical. ;

The Sumo Cup easily stores the burner, ;support and ;a 100g or 230g gas cannister ALL inside the cup for maximum compactness and ease of storage.

The optional Pot Support ;attaches directly to the burner ;allows use of other jetboil accessories such as the Fluxring Cooking Pot ;& the Fluxring Frying Pan

Fueled by a Butane Gas canister (not included) it will fit any brand screw type 100g or 227g canister. ;
Jetboil is compatible with cannisters made to the EN417 or AS2278 specification, a standard adopted by manufacturers throughout the world. ;

Genuine Jetboil Jet Power Fuel disposable cannisters are available at many major camping store outlets off the shelf are generally quite inexpensive. ;Either 100g, 230g or 450g. ;It is a high-performance propane / isobutane four-season blend. Propane provides higher vapor pressure for better performance in cold weather. Isobutane provides more constant pressure as the fuel level gets low. Genuine Jetboil fuel is preferred for use in extreme cold conditions. ;The Jetpower fuel canister is also designed to stow conveniently within the cooking cup where generic brand cannisters, although connection will fit, may vary in dimensions and may not stow inside cup.
