Polywood is a special treated timber manufactured by Tramontina in Brazil. Although Polywood is more resistant than normal timber, some precautions need to be take when utilised in a restaurant or industrial place.

Care instructions:

  • After use, rinse immediately in warn soapy water and wipe dry with a clean cloth.
  • Do not leave unwashed cutlery overnight or for extended periods. Rinse food, salt or detergent off used knives promptly.
  • Do ; no use knives to open cans, cut bones and other materials that might damage the edge and its cut.
  • Tramontina recommends the use of commercial plastic dishwasher rack/basket when using any type of dishwasher, both commercial or residential.
