Knog PWR Trail 1000lm Front Bike Light

The PWR Trail is a modular bike light, and is unique in how versatile it is. It is definitely not JUST another bicycle light. Not only is it a high power headlight, but simply take the product apart and you have much more. The front section is a lighthead compatible with other PWR bike and camping lights, and the rear is a PWR Bank to charge devices that is also the battery for all products in the PWR range. For example, even after 1 hour of riding at the maximum setting of 1000 lumens, you would still have enough charge to top up your iPhone by 75%. An ideal steady mode for commuting with this light is the Mid mode, which runs for 3 hours at 550 lumens.

The PWR Trail outputs a maximum of 1000 lumens, and can run for up to 300 hours on Eco Flash mode. It uses an elliptical beam for broader road coverage, and can be mounted either on top or under the handlebar (for example, mount it under your Garmin). It can be even be used with a helmet mount (sold separately), and incorporates twist mode operation (turn the light on and off twisting the lighthead) so that using it in winter with gloves there is no fumbling for a button. The soon to be released ModeMaker app (Dec 2017) gives you the option to program brightness and runtime.
