The goods are legal, non-counterfeit goods sold outside normal distribution channels. What often happens is many of these products come from sources such as small liquor suppliers around the globe who are exporting internationally. This whole process is ultimately about competition and delivering the best price to you, our customers. Our suppliers are established and trusted businesses who sell to independent licensed premises throughout the world and have been doing so for many years.

Krug Grand Cuvee is the ultimate embodiment of the style and philosophy of the house. The timeless and stylish signature champagne of Krug, the Grand Cuvee is one that seamlessly manages to strike an affable harmony between richness and freshness, power and finesse. Thus out of contrast emerges a harmony - testament to the masterful art of blending demonstrated time after time by the house.

Typically, Krug Grand Cuvee is blended from as many as 50 wines from three grape varieties, 20 to 25 growths and six to ten different years. However, amazingly no recipe can define its intricate harmony, and so every year the Krug family works from taste and memory alone to recreate this most complex of champagnes.

Whatever their secret, the family certainly has fine art of champagne production down to ... well, a fine art! According to Remi Krug, if Johann-Joseph Krug tasted today's Grande Cuvee, he would no doubt say that it was exactly what he dreamt of when he founded Krug in 1843.

Tasting Note: A gleaming gold colour, an extravagantly expansive bouquet, an almost creamy texture. Then, an explosion of flavours, at once mellow and mature, crisp and clean. Toast, soft spices, dried fruit, candied fruit.
