The Akyra is the structured and protective trail running shoe suitable for endurance routes such as ultra trails and ultra marathons.

Breathable AirMesh Upper A breathable, AirMesh Ultra-Comfort upper provides excellent ventilation and breathability to reduce the build-up of sweat and moisture which may be detrimental to your performance. The AirMesh allows air to fully permeate the entire upper providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air while simultaneously forcing out hot, muggy air.

The upper uses a tight-fitting upper, structured in 3 layers that provide, from the inside out: comfort thanks to the seamless construction; flexibility and structure thanks to the innovative MicroLite Skeleton application that follows the movement of the foot in a dynamic way while running; protection thanks to the flex-guard structural applications in microfibre that guarantee a lightweight shoe but at the same time provides protection against possible abrasions running between rocks and roots.

The Flex-Guard microfibre inserts further enhance the comfort of the shoes and work in combination with the application of thermal-adhesive TPU Microlite skeleton that adds structure and stability to the construction. Exceptional stability is provided by the TrailCage system technology that is placed between the two layers of the upper and provides structure and a snug fit while integrating with the lacing system. Lastly, a light and protective TPU toe cap adds protection to the toe area from rocks, debris and other trail hazards.

Injection Moulded EVA Midsole The Akyra from La Sportiva Sports an Injection Moulded EVA midsole which differs from the standard compression moulded EVA midsoles for a high degree of cushioning and a better elasticity of the compound. These features assist the propulsion phase of
