Using only nature's goodness this light weight, ultra-absorbent oil has one of the highest amounts of essential fatty acids, Vitamin E and potent antioxidants. It moisturises deeply and helps to restore the skin's elasticity and assist in the reduction of inflammation, whilst protecting the skin from damaging radicals which would otherwise encourage wrinkle formation.

The amino acids and Vitamin K present in Lariese Organics Prickly Pear seed oil help to stimulate collagen production and brighten hyper pigmentation areas such as dark spots.

The real magic for our skin is in the pure unadulterated oil cold pressed from seeds of the Prickly Pear. It is not to be confused with cheaper macerated seeds - that is, seeds softened by soaking in liquid before pressing to produce more volume of yield. Nor is it to be confused with cheaper oil from the Prickly Pear fruit.

Each of the tiny black seeds present in the flesh of the fruit of this 'miracle plant' contains only 5% oil of the seeds mass weight. It takes about a million seeds and 36 hours of labour to separate enough seeds to ethically and sustainably produce 1 litre of oil. The seeds are separated from the pulp of the fruit, then dried and harvested in batches. They are gently cold pressed to preserve all the active ingredients.

This unique oil penetrates quickly and deeply into the skin's dermis thereby stimulating collagen production. It combats the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles with its antioxidant Betalain.

Prickly pear seed oil has 150x more Vitamin E than Argan Oil, it is power packed with Linoleic acid, which is the essential fatty acid proven to lighten hyper-pigmentation and age spots. It soothes inflammation, and can be beneficial to acne sufferers. The Vitamin K found in this oil can reduce puffiness and dark rings under eyes. Directions After cleansing and toning, apply a couple of drops to fingertips and massage into face & neck in an upward circular motion. May be used alone or under moisturiser. For best results, apply morning & night.
