LOTE 43 CABERNET MERLOT 2018

VINEYARD

Purple-red, with shades ranging from ruby to brown. Good intensity, high lithing the aging aromas, such as prune, jam, leather, tobacco, truffle, mint, vegetables and nuts. Presents a great volume in the mouth, a sensation of unctuosity, denoting its body, with ripe tannins and pleasant persistence and a remarkable aftertaste.

Hand-picked grapes in boxes of 20 kg from the best vineyard of Miolo family, the Lot 43. The grapes were selected by hand on a selection conveyor, machine destemmed and gently crushed. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration in stainless steel tanks at a temperature from 28 to 300C during approximately 15 days with simultaneous pigeages and pumping over the must for maximum extraction. Maceration after fermentation for 15 to 20 days . Complete and spontaneous malolactic fermentation. The Cabernet and Merlot wines were aged separately, 50% in new American oak and 50% in new french oak barrels. The wine was bottled without filtration and aged in our cellars for 1 more year.
