Organic Cotton Upper The Vapor Glove 3 Eco from Merrell is made using a 100% organic cotton upper for a more eco-friendly design. It has been combined with a 100% recycled mesh lining which helps the shoe to release warm air that is being generated close to the foot, allowing the foot to cool down faster and the wearer's comfort to stay constant. Recycled TPU overlays add durability to the upper for long-lasting wear and stability on the trail. The upper also features a traditional lacing system for a secure fit, complete with 100% recycled laces, so you can be confident in your step. The tongue patch label and heel patch are also constructed using recycled materials. A TrailProtect Pad has been placed in between the midsole and outsole which helps to protect the foot from uneven, rugged terrain which is often found along the trail and could cause great discomfort and possibly injury. A recycled mesh-covered footbed further enhances breathability and comfort.

Vibram EcoStep Outsole Finished with a Vibram EcoStep outsole, made from 30% recycled rubber, for an innovative combination of sustainability and performance, which provides added durability and improved grip on wet and dry surfaces. This rubber allows the shoe to grip various terrain in various weather conditions that the wearer will come across as they run and explore.
