The Luftwaffe?s Messerschmitt Me262 was introduced in 1944 and was the first jet-propelled fighter aircraft to go into series production. Faster and more heavily armed than any Allied aircraft of the time, the 262 arrived too late to turn the tide of war in Germany?s favour. However, its design would influence new aircraft production worldwide long after WWII had ended!

Revell?s detailed model features a full cockpit with a choice of instrument panels (rocket/bomb-armed), canopy can be positioned open/closed, gun bay (covers can be positioned open/closed), full undercarriage, 2x Jumo 004 engines, moveable ailerons and rudder, bomb racks with a choice of bombs, R4M rocket launch racks and 2 auxiliary fuel tanks.
