About the Author

Kate and Jol don't like tomatoes. They never have and they never will. What they do like is writing books together and coming up with silly words that rhyme. When they're not writing books, they write ads for things people like and things people don't. They live in Sydney with their sons Arlo and Clancy, who also don't like tomatoes. Jon doesn't like stick insects. Never has. Never will. What he does like is drawing funny-looking characters with deranged little toothy-pegs.

When Jon's not drawing pictures he works as an art director at some of Australia's best ad agencies. Mike I Don't Like is their third children's book.
