This Tropical Flecktarn (or Tropentarn) field cap is made from a polyester/cotton blend. The Mil-Tec Tropentarn field cap is based on the original M43 field cap, which was designed and produced in 1943 for the Wehrmacht, Germany's allied defense forces from 1935-1945, and the SS.

Featuring the German Tropical Flecktarn camouflage pattern, which is a multi-colour disruptive camouflage pattern that generally utilizes three colours and was designed for use in desert environments. Each side of the cap is also flanked by two riveted ventilation holes while the front of the cap sports a yellow, red and black German emblem.
