Motivating Me Ball

The Motivating Me Ball addresses important issues and gets teens ready to meet the challenges they face. The ball has a series of statements printed on it. Players throw the ball to each other. Whoever catches the ball reads and discusses the statement closest to their left or right thumb. Statements include things to think about and things to do, such as: "Say I can try again", "Name one thing that motivates you". The ball is then thrown to another member of the group, who has not already caught the ball.

The balls take just a few minutes to use and instantly get the student's or client's interacting in positive ways. They are great for use with a group as an icebreaker. The balls can also be used one-on-one with a therapist or counsellor. Our Counselling Balls have proven to be one of the most popular ways to teach children and teens emotional, social and behavioural skills.
