Tasting Notes

Niche Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

Crimson with magenta/purple hues. Classic, varietal aromas of cassis with some choc-mint all work seamlessly with plums and soft oak undertones. A medium bodied wine with a rounded fruit driven palate that features rich, round velvety tannins, with plum, cassis and cherry flavours whilst the oak is soft and just a passenger.

Normans Holbrooks Road Chardonnay 2021

Pale straw with green hues. Highly aromatic style showing lovely notes of tropical fruit highlighted by peach, mango and citrus blossom.Fruit driven unoaked style reflecting characters on nose perfectly with peach, fresh mango, and cream. Overall fine and creamy with a touch of nuttiness and zingy citrus. A refreshing wine with beautiful natural fruit acidity providing length and the finish is savory and textural.

Heathcote Ranges Black Label Heathcote Shiraz 2020 Cleanskin

This Elite Heathcote Shiraz is a full bodied wine which has a pronounced ripe blackberry fruit and a hint of peppery flavours. The fruit is grown on the red stoney earth (Cambrian earth) on the undulating slopes of Heathcote in central Victoria Australia . The climate is warm by day crisp cool at night thus slowing the ripening process allowing the grapes to become more intense in flavour and colour . With careful wine crafting and science the wonderful fruit characters are captured and retained through to the bottle which are derived from soft dark berry Shiraz grapes allowing a great lengthy palatable finish and soft tannins.

The Dianne Victorian Sauvignon Blanc 2021

Clean clear lemon and lime green colour. Fruit driven with classic Sauvignon Blanc flavours of passion fruit, melon and a touch of lemon. Bursting with classic passionfruit, melon and lemon citrus flavours. The noticeable tropical fruit works inline with natural grape acid to ensure a crisp lingering finish. Made to drink upon release or over the next couple of years while the fruit flavour is most vibrant.

Conquest Clare Valley Riesling 2018

Clear to medium straw with a bright golden hue. Varietal and regional characters of lemon, lime and citrus on the nose. Perfectly reflecting the nose the palate opens with lemon/lime and citrus notes. A wonderful touch of dried fruit flavours of apricot, peach and some honey blossom. This cellar release has good age which has mellowed the acidity nicely as its integrated creating a beautifully drinkable soft Riesling.

Alexander Cameron Limestone Coast Shiraz 2020Deep dark black with crimson edge. Powerful and opulent fruit-driven, it has ripe black berry characters with hints of chocolate, alcohol and plums. The palate is fleshy, highlighting the high quality fruit used for this wine. Ripe dark berry characters, which will enable this wine to age well, there is black berry up front with notes of licorice, chocolate and alcohol interwoven across the palate with fine tannins lingering on the finish.
