My Little Gumnut cloth nappy in Cacti has two components - a breathable and water resistant outer shell and a five-layer insert. The insert is made with 2 layers of bamboo on the outside and 3 layers of microfiber on the inside.

The nappy shells are made with soft and water resistant material on the outside and feature a pocket made with 100% bamboo fleece on the inside. The insert slides into the pocket and is designed to absorb liquid. The bamboo layer that sits against baby's skin wicks away moisture keeping baby's skin dry.

The nappy covers can be used for up to 2-3 nappy changes (as long as baby has not poo'd) for an economical nappy system.

To Use:

Place the insert inside the pocket, put the nappy on baby and use the snaps to fasten to the correct size. The nappy should be firm around the waist and legs but not too tight. The nappy should not leave marks on baby's skin.

Caring for your Nappies with these 4 easy steps:

1) Rinse off any solids (or remove solids with your Flushable Bamboo Liner)

2) Place in a dry bucket with a lid

3) Machine wash with your usual detergent (a quarter to half a scoop only)

4) Line dry in the sun.

The sun will act as a natural disinfectant and draw out any stains, eliminating the need to use whiteners, brighteners or softeners. Always wash your nappies 3-4 times before use to boost the absorbency of the inserts.

We recommend using a powder detergent rather than liquid. We recommend washing these nappies in cold or warm water and line drying in the sun. If you prefer to wash in warm water, never wash your nappies in water hotter than 40 degrees Celsius. Never dry your outer shells in the dryer
