Pesado Wooden Portafilter - Naked, Raya, NS / VA
The Pesado Wooden Portafilter is a premium espresso group handle designed to feature optimal serving conditions for your espressos, ergonomics in the handle for a comfortable grip and durability to withstand daily use in a cafe environment.
The body and spout of the portafilter, made entirely in stainless steel, increases the strength, performance and longevity with heavy usage. An open spout with precise splitting curves, the inner surface of the spouts has been machined to allow an even, thick flow of espresso during the pour.
For ease of cleaning, the spout can be easily removed, and being a stainless steel body, it can manage the harsh coffee machine cleaning solutions available.
The wooden handles have been ergonomically shaped on a manual lathe than finished in natural wax. *Be careful around water, please do not soak or leave any of our wooden handles wet as it can cause splitting. All wooden handles are handmade in Australia from premium Oak.
Over time splits or small cracks may appear in your wooden handles, this is the normal ageing process that occurs in all wood. The cracks will not affect the integrity of the handles, as the inner thread is 12mm wide by 80mm long.
Pesado reserves the right to decide if the item is eligible for replacement, a handle with a crack or split less than 3mm wide and 2cm long, usually is not.
Available in either Double Spouts or Naked / Bottomless Portafilter, to Fit either LM & E61 Group Heads or NS which fits Nuova Simonelli and Vittoria Arduino Machines.
The "naked" head exposes the bottom of your basket, allowing you to diagnose any channeling or issues with your shot. When you get the perfect extraction, you will see the true beauty of a perfect coffee forming before your eyes.
