WARNING: Removu R1+ are loaded with version 1 firmware. You MAY need to update the firmware by going to the Removu website () and downloading the latest version of firmware and follow the upgrade instructions. You MAY also need to update the firmware in your GoPro camera in order to get the devices to work together. Regardless of what model camera you are using, if you have any issues with the Removu R1+, please update the firmware. Removu has a Firmware update that will allow the R1+ to be used with the GoPro HERO5 Black and HERO6 Cameras.

The wrist-worn REMOVU R1+ Live View Remote for GoPro HERO3 / HERO3+ / HERO4 / HERO4 Session / HERO5 Black / HERO6 - allows you to operate the camera and view a live image through its LCD display. It allows you to operate any of the camera's setting, including record start and stop. Playback footage instantly on your wrist.

Image overlays show important data like remaining battery life and Wi-Fi signal status.

Has a self-timer which allows you to delay the shutter release, giving you time between pushing the button and taking the video or photo.

You wont need to have your smartphone app to set up Wi-Fi for your GoPro. R1+ can generate HERO4 and Sessions Wi-Fi SSID and password all on its own.
