These replacement drawstrings are about 55-56 inches long. They are round, and woven of 100% polyester. They're 4 mm in diameter, and have plastic tips. You get 2 drawstrings- one black and one white. The Easy Threader is a 24" Flexible Nylon Needle that makes drawstring replacement very fast and easy. The Easy Threader Tool is strong and durable. Because it's made of nylon, it won't break easily, unlike similar competitors' hard plastic tools. The end that goes through the drawstring channel is rigid. The other end is narrower with an eye for the drawstring. The overall length is about 24" long. Thread the drawstring through the eye, and slide the Easy Threader through the drawstring channel. We have purposely widened the Easy Threader eye a bit, to enable you to put the plastic tip of the drawstrings through it. You can widen the eye yourself, if it flexes back to it's original size. Just slide the tine of a fork, or a small flat head screwdriver through the opening, if needed. These 55 inch drawstrings can be cut to shorter lengths, according to your needs. Thread the uncut drawstring through the garment channel, then cut the drawstring to your preferred length. Knot the cut end to prevent fraying. Some people prefer to heat the cut end to prevent fraying.
