Ventilated Upper

Designed to keep your feet comfortable and ventilated the Scarpa Atom SL Trail Running Shoes have been constructed using a mesh upper. The mesh acts as a lightweight second skin to ensure you are able to go the distance in complete comfort. Perforations in the fabric encourage cool air to circulate, removing uncomfortable heat build-up to create a healthy environment for your foot to thrive in. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the shoes, supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside, so sweat is kept to a minimum and you are kept cool and comfy. As well as this, a thermo-welded Exoskeleton increases structure and support within the midfoot to create a comfortable fit. A heel support system has also been used to ensure lock-down whilst the slip-on sock-like fit ensures complete comfort. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
