Quokka

Quokkas are peaceful little marsupials. They belong to the family of kangaroos and are therefore also called short-tailed kangaroos. Quokkas live in a small area in the south-west of Australia and are often referred to as the happiest animals in the world, because they seem to smile all the time due to their mouth shape. Fun fact: Unlike most other kangaroos, quokkas can climb up small trees.
