Advanced Airflow
Shimano's indoor shoes use a highly breathable mesh upper that promotes airflow to the foot to help keep the rider cool while working out. This mesh is also fast-drying and is based on the material used in Shimano's legendary triathlon shoes. This mesh wicks away sweat and means the shoes can be used without socks if desired—an excellent feature for those training on stationary bikes.

Shimano Dynalast
Shimano has equipped the shoe with Dynalast technology to help drive more power into the pedal. Dynalast technology is built into the shoe's sole, constructed from a lightweight glass fiber reinforced nylon sole. The soles also have increased grip included so that the user can walk over slippery gym floors and not have to worry.
