Sonoma County Cherrywood Rye Whiskey is produced from a rather unusual mash bill. It is 80% Californian rye, 10% Californian wheat and, get this, 10% cherrywood smoked barley. Find that somewhere else. Different doesn't mean bad though. In fact, it is decidedly delicious with notes of blackberries, red currants slowly giving way to a clove and ginger stem spiciness.
