The possibilities, which sonumaxx BT has to offer, surpass by far the regular application as a TV listening system. Basically, you can receive audio from any kind device which provides its sound over 3.5mm or 6.3mm jacks, RCA connectors, Toslink or Bluetooth output.

Like all usual wireless TV listening systems, sonumaxx BT consists of a transmitter with inbuilt charging functionfor the receiver. The latter features, depending on the model, an underchin listener or a neckloop for the inductiveaudio transmission directly to hearing aids or CI-systems with integrated T-coil.

The neckloop receiver has, furthermore, a 3.5 mm connector for regular hearing equipment like headphones, earphones or induction hooks.

The connection from the audio source to the Bluetooth-transmitter is achieved by analogue audio- or optical Toslink cable.

The sonumaxx BT receiver is able to connect to all Bluetooth-enabled devices, independent from its transmitter.It can be paired by the usual routines to PCs, mobile phones, tablets, radios etc. You can even pick up a Bluetooth-transmitted phone call with it!

A convenient extra: Switch to communication

With a single push of a button, you can activate the communication function. This interrupts the ongoing audio transmission and switches over to the inbuilt microphone, which will pick up the sound of your surroundings and plays them back in your chosen volume. This way, you can use the sonumaxx BT as a convenient communication amplifier and take part in clearly heard conversations with all people within the room.
