An all new Derailleur, Designed for the twenty first century. Optimised to be motor driven instead of cable actuated. AXS powered components enable customization and scale to and individual riders liking Via the AXS app. Featuring a shorter cage for 10mm more ground clearance and more chain wrap to sit sightly further forward and inboard than mechanical EAGLE™. The EAGLE™ AXS derailleur is smart enough to protect itself from stressors due to its incredible resilient Overload Clutch. In the event of a crash the motor gearbox disengages, giving the derailleur freedom to move and instantly returning itself back to it position for a seamless experience for the rider. The system has be researched in depth and retains water and dust proofing standard for creek crossings, mud splattering and the post ride bike bath.

AXS
AXS is SRAM’s new bike component integration system that connects electronic bicycle components and software. The SRAM AXS app allows riders to see battery status, change component behaviour, personalize controls, get maintenance reminders and update firmware.

Cage Lock
With CAGE LOCK technology in the rear derailleur, wheel removal and instillation becomes faster and simpler. Just push the cage forward to create slack and lock it into place.
