This is the most striking gin in the Stoneflow range. Its full-flavoured with unusual and seductive woody, earthy notes.

The Bushwillow seed pods impart a robust, rich, nutty, warmth that envelopes the mouth. It is unlike any other gin anywhere! The taste lingers on the side of the tongue, inviting sip after sip.

Botanical insight: Large-fruited Bushwillow (Combretum zeyheri). This member of the Bushwillow family produces beautiful winged seed pods, large enough to comfortably fill an adults cupped hand. The pods rustle in the breeze making a sound reminiscent of waves brushing beach sand. They are a favourite of graceful spiral-horned kudu that gather beneath the trees in late summer to browse the seedpods for the nutty kernel hidden inside.

About Stoneflow Distillery: Stoneflow Distillery was conceived and perfected amid the wonderfully diverse vegetation of the Cradle of Humankind, a World Heritage Site where our earliest ancestors took their first steps. Its very name coming from the rock formations that define the area. It was here that the team first experimented with Wild Cucumber as a garnish in a sundowner and the idea of Stoneflow Gin was born.

Drawing its flavours from the rich palette of indigenous bushveld botanicals Stoneflows unique gins were crafted to capture the essence of this African wilderness.
