A typical training and patrol mission aboard a nuclear submarine turns into a desperate battle for survival miles deep in Arctic waters in this tout action thriller.

A team of research scientists led by Rick Postley (Stephen Baldwin) and Laura Dyson (Gabrielle Anwaor) piggyback their submersible pod to the nuclear attack sub Portland to collect a series of measurements of the Arctic ice.

But when a mysterious Russian sub engages them in a deadly game of cat and mouse, the Portland nose dives straight to the bottom, way beyond its crush depth.

Now it's up to Postley and Dyson to save the the surviving crew buried beneath the polar ice cap in a heart stopping race against the clock before time - and oxygen - run out.
