Directions Step 1 – Outline and shave around your brows

  • Before you get started, The Brow Technicians recommends that you outline your brows first. You can do this by using The Brow Technicians' pencil. This gives you a guide to follow and avoids removing too much hair.
  • Pickup your brow razor. Using your non-dominant hand hold your eyebrow skin taut by pulling it up gently toward your forehead. With your opposite hand, start at the front of your brows, using a light hand shave down towards your defined shape. Continue this along the top, arch and down towards the tail.
  • Repeat until you have removed all unwanted hair.

Step 2 – Tweeze brows

  • Grip the tweezers between your thumb and index finger.
  • Start at the bottom of your eyebrows beginning at the front.
  • Centre the hair between the tips of the tweezers as close as possible to the skin.
  • Press down tightly and pull out quickly in the direction of hair growth.
  • Repeat in your arch area and down towards the tails until all stray hairs are gone.

Step 3 – Trim and fill brows

  • Use the spoolie on the opposite end of your pencil or use a mascara wand you may have at home. Lightly brush your brows up and out at the tails.
  • Pick up your scissors, and start trimming the long hairs that stick out over the natural brow line.
  • Snip and trim slowly around your shape and only a little bit at a time. Don’t trim too close to your outlined shape. You want your hair slightly longer so you will be able to comb them back into place. When it comes to brows, less is more, always.
  • Once you have finished trimming, dust any hairs off your face and comb your hairs back into place.
  • To complete your brow look, fill in any sparse areas using The Brow Technicians waterproof pencil and set your groomed hairs in place using ‘brow proof’ our 24-hour brow hold.
