Clean, crisp and fresh. A classic cool-climate Pinot Gris displaying lifted guava, honeysuckle and crunchy Nashi pear with a waxy texture and lively citrus finish. From one of the oldest Pinot Gris vineyards in the Adelaide Hills at 450m elevation. Close planted (4166 vines/ha) means competition for scarce nutrients and each vine producing less bunches and working harder to concentrate rich flavours that define this Pinot Gris. Cold nights and sunny days prolong ripening which builds flavour intensity and complexity. Ironstone soils infuse a definitive flintiness / mineral character. Once picked cool, slow stainless steel ferments and time on full lees build texture and depth of flavour, creating the perfect chilled aperitif. Texture, minerality and mouthfeel. Vegan friendly. .
