â—„Construction- Wrist and Forearm splint is made from a strong three-layered bonded fabric with the middle layer made of open-celled foam to ensure good cushioning. The rigid support is provided by aluminum splints contained in a Nylon pocket.
- The splint can be customized to fit the individual patient precisely, which ensures better immobilization and improved comfort. Hook loop closure provides, snug-fitting of the product, its easy application, and removal.
- Wrist and Forearm splint is designed to effectively maintain wrist in dorsiflexion or neutral position while allowing full range of motion to fingers and thumb. It allows slight thumb abduction for its comfort. It compresses and retains the body heat to allay the local pain and inflammation.
- Wrist and Forearm splint can be removed to permit, therapy sessions, washing, and hygiene.
