Products in our Ultimo collection have an almost raw, straight-from-the-pallet appearance, an authentic ‘weathered’ look. The timber is only very lightly sanded so the natural characteristics will be more evident than they are compared to our more finished collections. And because each product is handcrafted, no two pieces are exactly the same.
Made from solid, reclaimed pine shipping pallets with a matte black metal base, our Ultimo stool has a distinctly industrial look. Nail holes, timber knots, colour variations and timber block patches are common and are not considered a fault.
Inspired by Clement Uhl's 1930s draftsman's stool, the Ultimo stool exhibits the minimalism of machine-age design. It features an adjustable timber seat and a foot rest. Once the seat has been adjusted to the desired height, secure it by tightening the bolt under the seat.
This set contains two stools. Both come fully assembled.
