The latest release, UH5040R is a compact sized unit with a quick release bracket for simple installation and where easy removal is desired to ensure unit safety when away from vehicle. In addition, it features a new heavy duty microphone designed to make it ideal for robust work conditions and when moving the unit from vehicle to vehicle.

The UH5040R Is a 12/24 voltage and 5 Watt unit, making it suitable for any vehicle. This unit also includes a built in AVS circuitry to detect narrowband and wideband transmissions. With the option to choose from 38 CTCSS (Continuous Coded Squelch System) digital codes enables users to automatically adjust incoming audio to compatible levels. This radio provides flexible control with the finest components.
